Despite reports claiming otherwise, Vanessa Hudgens was not fired from Disney's High School Musical franchise. Although OK! magazine is reporting that the clean-cut network dumped Hudgens in the wake of her nude photo scandal, the actress' spokesperson told Access Hollywood the story is untrue.
She said, "It is an old rumor. OK! magazine never bothered to fact check with me but they did call Disney who said it wasn't true, but yet OK! ran it anyway."
A rep for Disney told Access that they are still in talks with Hudgens for High School Musical 3.
