Forbes magazine has published its new Web Celeb 25 list of the most important people on the Internet today. Off the list this year is Lonelygirl15, who topped the list last year, and gossip blogger Perez Hilton (Mario Lavandeira) is now the king, er, queen of the hill.
Forbes defined a Web Celeb as "a person famous primarily for creating or appearing in Internet-based content, and for being highly recognizable to a Web-based audience." This excludes people who were famous for something else before they started doing something on the Internet.
