Donald Trump returned to primetime January 3rd with the season premiere of The Celebrity Apprentice on NBC. Out of the 14 original contestants, it was Playboy Playmate Tiffany Fallon who got fired first. Host Trump admit he was at first nervous about an all-celebrity cast, but he soon realized they contributed to the best Apprentice to date: "You know I wasn't exactly sure what I was getting. These are people that are celebrities, some unbelievable successful like Gene (Simmons) and what he's done over the years. And we've really had an amazing crop of people and I didn't know whether or not they were going to take it that seriously. It turned out to be, I think, the best Apprentice we've done."
The remaining celebrity contestants are supermodel Carol Alt, Gene Simmons of the rock band Kiss, softball gold medalist Jennie Finch, boxing champ Lennox Lewis, actress Marilu Henner, gymnastic gold medalist Nadia Comaneci, producer Nely Galan, reality TV personality Omarosa, America's Got Talent judge Piers Morgan, actor Stephen Baldwin, fighter Tito Ortiz, country singer Trace Adkins, and Sopranos star Vinnie Pastore.
