British actress Gemma Arterton has been tapped as the new "Bond Girl" in the next James Bond flick, starring Daniel Craig as Agent 007. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the yet-to-be-titled film is currently filming in London and will hit theaters November 7th. The 21-year-old actress is a new on the acting scene and recently graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts.

 Reese Witherspoon has topped a list of the most-liked celebrities. According to Reuters, the Walk the Line actress was Number One when it comes to personal appeal. She had a 74 percent rating, followed by Jennifer Aniston with 70 percent. The E-Poll Market Research survey found that Angelina Jolie was the third most popular with 53 percent. Also making the cut were Jennifer Lopez, Katie Holmes and Victoria Beckham.

The woman accused of bashing Leonardo DiCaprio with a broken beer bottle while he was leaving a party in 2005 has been caught for a similar offense. The Associated Press reports that Aretha Wilson has been in custody in Toronto for another alleged aggravated assault case. She failed to turn herself in after the arrest warrant was issued in July 2005 for the DiCaprio incident. Now Los Angeles police hope to bring her back to the U.S. to face the charges.

HBO's John From Cincinnati star Austin Nichols has pleaded guilty to an impaired driving offense, stemming from an incident last August. According to the Associated Press, he paid a $1,000 fine.

Tim Chapman, the sidekick of TV bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman, was caught with his pants down by a shopping center security guard the night of January 3rd. According to the Associated Press, the guard told police that he found Tim naked in a pickup truck, performing a lewd act. But a lawyer says Tim had spilled juice on himself and was changing clothes. He's since turned himself in to authorities, and police are investigating whether to charge him.

A judge has set an August 26th court date for a veteran writer who claims he pitched the idea for the hit Hannah Montana TV show and has never been compensated for it. The Associated Press reports that Buddy Sheffield claims he pitched a show called Rock and Roland to the Disney Channel in 2001. The concept revolved around a junior high school student who's secretly a pop star and the main breadwinner of the family.

Olympic gold medal skater Dorothy Hamill is being treated for breast cancer, though doctors say the prognosis is favorable. The 51-year-old skater is at the Kimmel Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins and says she'll have to miss some of the Broadway on Ice tour.

Pamela Anderson is moving forward with her divorce from Rick Salomon. Although she claimed to have been working things out with her estranged spouse, US magazine is reporting that the former Baywatch babe had divorce papers personally served to Salomon on December 28th. Anderson states in her divorce request that the pair was married from October 6th to December 13th in 2007.

Fallout Boy frontman Patrick Stump made a guest appearance on the 18th season premiere of Law & Order lJanuary 2nd. Stump played an office employee who became a suspect in the kidnapping of the wife and daughter of a high-profile executive. Stump had previously guest starred on the CW drama, One Tree Hill.

Jack Black is expecting his second child with wife Tanya Haden. The actor confirmed to reporters on January 5th during the press day for his upcoming film, Be Kind Rewind, that his one-and-a-half-year-old son will soon become a big brother. Black did not indicate when the child is due.

Lindsay Lohan's latest bedroom partner has followed in the footsteps of her ex-boyfriend Riley Giles by spilling lurid details of her sex life to News of the World. Just weeks after Giles called the 21-year-old starlet a "nymphomaniac," Alessandro diNunzio told the publication that Lohan slept with him six hours after they met during her recent trip to Italy. "Lindsay was very, very good and surprisingly experienced. She wanted to do everything, every position. She was extremely flexible and adventurous," the ex-model and sound engineer divulged. To any concerned fans, diNunzio assured that he and Lohan had "safe sex."
